IntroductionCoronavirus disease 2019 [COVID-19] has become a pandemic resulting in large number of deaths. The compl icat ions COVID-19 are severe post -transplantation patients on immunosuppression, more mortality. Therefore renal transplantations [KT] were stopped temporarily Sri Lanka during the peak epidemic. And few months later when KT was restarted only who real-time polymerase chain reaction [PCR] test negative accepted for KT. This case report describes live donor done patient recovered from infection but had persistently positive PCR test.Case presentationA 29-year-old male with end-stage failure due to chronic kidney unknown aetiology underwent He than 4 weeks before and asymptomatic normal chest X-ray [CXR] white cell count [WBC].
